OUR STORY

EST. 2021

Inspired by a mission to make Australian Merino wool an everyday wardrobe essential, INTACT is a thoughtful combination of Founder and Creative Director, Gabby Neal's formal training and industry experience within the fashion and design space which supports Australian woolgrowers and a better fashion future.

our mission

Natural fibres for your everyday

Through carefully curated 100% Australian Merino wool staples, INTACT gives a firm nod to the slow fashion movement, reflecting the growing need for conscious consumption.

a natural choice

Why wool?

Born into a woolgrowing family based in Central West NSW, Gabby has been surrounded by Merino wool her entire life. With an innate understanding of processes involved from farm to fashion, Gabby saw a gap in the market to promote this forgotten fibre of the fast fashion generation.

Challenging the outdated perception of wool as a dense, winter only choice, INTACT showcases the premium fibres inherent innovative properties through a capsule collection of your favourite wardrobe essentials.

Wardrobe reset

a capsule collection

The INTACT range is based on lifestyle needs; effortless staples that can take you from the morning run, swim at the beach, through the workday and to social outings and adventures further afield. The brand features timeless designs that can be paired to create a capsule collection and encourages people to rethink their wardrobe foundations.

OUR VISION

A CIRCULAR FUTURE

INTACT is committed to a sustainable future and we’ve started with the end in mind, cementing circular principles from the outset. With Australian Merino wool at its core, INTACT celebrates the world’s premium sustainable fibre, a 100% natural, renewable and biodegradable wonder with plenty of benefits for the conscious consumer.

Our capsule collections mean limited production runs, helping us tread a little lighter when it comes to environmental costs. All our packaging is made from biodegradable material and our garment care labels are made from cotton. We work closely with our manufacturers to reduce the need for unnecessary waste throughout the supply chain, such as reducing the amount of single use poly bags and promote the longevity of our garments with our wear more, wash less message to keep your wardrobe (and footprint) INTACT.
